A number of Palestinian citizens were kidnaped and others were injured when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed different areas of the West Bank last night and on Monday morning.
The Red Crescent said that two citizens suffered bullet injuries during clashes with Israeli forces in Beit Furik town, east of Nablus.
However, local sources affirmed that three citizens were injured by IOF gunfire during the events in the town.
The IOF also raided homes and kidnaped a young man in Udala town, south of Nablus, amid clashes with local youths.
The Red Crescent said that some of its paramedics were injured when Israeli soldiers savagely assaulted them as they were doing their job during the skirmishes in Udala town.
In the northern West Bank, the IOF stormed different areas, including Ya’bad town in Jenin, the towns of Jayyous and Jinsafut in Qalqilya, az-Zawiya town in Salfit, and Qaffin town in Tulkarem.
Local sources in Qaffin reported that Israeli forces encircled a house in the town, without providing further information.
Three citizens were reportedly kidnaped by the IOF from Qaffin town, northeast of Tulkarem.
In Ramallah, the IOF stormed al-Jalazon refugee camp and kidnaped two children from their homes. They also raided other towns and villages in the north of the province.
In Bethlehem, Israeli forces kidnaped three citizens from their homes in different areas of the city and stormed al-Deheisha refugee camp.
In al-Khalil, the IOF stormed Taffuh town and raided an apartment building in Dura town, with no reported arrests.
A citizen was taken prisoner during an IOF raid in Qalqas village, south of al-Khalil.
In east Jerusalem, Israeli police forces kidnaped a young man, a resident of Issawiya district, at the military checkpoint near az-Za’ayyem town.
In a separate incident, a horde of extremist Jewish settlers escorted by police officers assaulted citizens in Wadi Hilweh neighborhood in the east Jerusalem district of Silwan. No one was reportedly hurt in the settler attack.
