The Israeli occupation army continued its deadly strikes on the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, the third day of the Eid al-Fitr holiday, killing and injuring a number of civilians.
According to Gaza’s health ministry, over 1,000 people, including at least 322 children, have been martyred since the Israeli army resumed its genocidal war on Gaza on March 18. 609 others were also injured during the same period.
Since the beginning of Eid al-Fitr, 85 civilians, mostly children and women, have been killed in Israeli strikes in different areas of Gaza.
Local media sources said that an Israeli warplane bombed the apartment of journalist Mohamed al-Bardawil in Khan Yunis, south of Gaza, killing him along with his wife and three children.
Bardawil worked as a broadcaster for the Voice of Al-Aqsa Mosque radio station.
