Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have continued their aggression against the city of Jenin and its refugee camp for the 75th consecutive day, with large-scale incursions into the governorate’s towns.

The number of martyrs in Jenin rose to 38 martyrs, including two shot by the Palestinian Authority (PA) security services. The latest victim was freed prisoner Hussein Hardan, who was shot and killed by the IOF on Nazareth Street.

In latest field developments, IOF arrested the father and brother of the freed prisoner Sultan Khalouf from Burqin town, west of Jenin, to pressure him to turn himself in.

The IOF also stormed Al-Dabous and Al-Attari neighborhoods in Jenin city and raided a number of citizens’ homes, with Israeli soldiers raising the Israeli flag on the rooftop of a Palestinian house in Jenin refugee camp.

Israeli troops were deployed in Al-Zahraa neighborhood, Al-Ghabz area in the vicinity of the camp and Wadi Burqin, amid continued building of and expanding roads, changing the features of the camp, and demolishing citizens’ homes.

The occupation forces have been chasing the displaced residents of the camp to other areas. In one such case, they arrested the young man Sanad Abu Naaj from Jenin camp after raiding the house to which his family resorted.

Due to the aggression, the humanitarian conditions of 21,000 displaced people have worsened, with thousands losing their jobs and livelihoods, in light of the ongoing siege.

The IOF completely destroyed about 600 houses in Jenin camp, and 3,250 housing units became uninhabitable due to destruction and arson attacks during the ongoing aggression, in addition to the widespread destruction of streets and infrastructure.

The Media Committee in Jenin camp warned against the escalation of the coordination policy between the PA and the IOF, which aims to impose a fait accompli in the camp and facilitate the IOF mission.

As the Israeli offensive against Jenin and its refugee camp continues, the PA went on to arrest dozens of young men from the city and the camp, the Media Committee added.
