A Palestinian farmer suffered injuries on Saturday after a horde of Jewish settlers assaulted him and sicced dogs on him while he was plowing a swath of land belonging to his family in the southern area of al-Khalil in the occupied West Bank.
According to a family source, settlers savagely beat Mudhar Ghaith, set dogs on him, and damaged his car’s windows as he was plowing the family’s land in Wadi al-Awar area in southern al-Khalil.
Ghaith suffered multiple injuries all over this body and was rushed to the hospital.
Those settlers had set up an illegal outpost on the mountain in the area about a month ago and later it was hooked up to the electricity grid after it was visited by far-right Israeli minister Itamar Ben Gvir.
The family appealed to human rights groups and anti-settlement committees to save this area against settlement expansion, emphasizing the need to provide the local residents with legal assistance to protect their lands from annexation.
