Two Palestinian resistance fighters were martyred on Wednesday in an armed clash with Israeli occupation forces (IOF) south of Jenin, in the northern West Bank.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of the two young men, Muhammad Zakarneh, 23, and Murawah Khuzaimiya, 19, after clashing with the IOF this morning, south of Jenin.

Footage showed an occupation bulldozer removing and abusing the body of one of the martyrs, after he had been trapped inside a cave in a mountainous area in Museliya town, south of Jenin.

Earlier on the day, an Israeli special force infiltrated the Museliya town and surrounded resistance fighters inside the cave, leading to the outbreak of armed clashes in which the IOF fired Energa projectiles towards the besieged area.

Special Israeli army forces, meanwhile, rounded up two Palestinian youths in Qabatiya town, also in southern Jenin on Wednesday morning.

The occupation forces continued their aggression against Jenin city and its refugee camp for the 86th consecutive day on Wednesday, which resulted in the martyrdom of 40 people, including two shot by the Palestinian Authority, amid escalating violations, arrests and ongoing tight siege.
