NABLUS, (PIC)

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) bulldozed Palestinian agricultural land belonging to citizens in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank, on Tuesday.

Hani Odeh, head of the village council in Qusra, reported today that an occupation bulldozer was bulldozing citizens’ land south of the village.

He explained that bulldozing operations are taking place on a daily basis in the north, south, and east of the village, noting that dozens of olive trees have been uprooted.

Odeh further elaborated that citizens cannot access or cultivate areas classified as Area B, some of which are only ten meters away from their homes, because the IOF has closed agricultural roads leading to these lands and prevented citizens from approaching them.

He pointed out that settlers are also placing mobile caravans on citizens’ lands in preparation for seizing more of the land and establishing settlement outposts in its place.

Qusra’s land covers an area of 9,000 dunums, classified as Areas B and C, and is surrounded by five settlements.

In parallel with the war of extermination in the Gaza Strip, the occupation army and Jewish settlers expanded their attacks in the West Bank and Jerusalem, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 956 people and the injury of nearly 7,000, in addition to 16,400 arrests, according to Palestinian data.
