IOF continues its aggression on Tulkarem for 94 consecutive days

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continued their aggression against the city of Tulkarem and its refugee camp in the northern West Bank for the 94th consecutive day on Wednesday, while the aggression against Nur Shams refugee camp has entered day 81.

The aggression continues, with ongoing escalation on the ground and a continuous campaign of raids and arrests.

The city witnessed active movements of occupation vehicles and foot patrols roaming the main and side streets, obstructing the movement of citizens and their vehicles, and detaining a number of young men and interrogating them in the field.

Last night, IOF patrols stormed the suburb of Thenaba, east of Tulkarem, and intensified their presence in its neighborhoods and the vicinity of its schools, stopping and searching vehicles, and checking the IDs of passengers.

Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli troops raided a cafe in the suburb, searched it, and subjected the young men who were present there to field interrogation, in addition to storming some homes in the same area.

The IOF arrested three young men after beating them: Amir Assaf, Ayham Shaban, and Shadi Shaban.

In a related development, the IOF soldiers were deployed heavily in Jabal al-Nasr area in the Nur Shams camp, firing stun grenades and flare bombs in the area, accompanied by heavy shooting of live ammunition.

The ongoing Israeli aggression against the city of Tulkarem and its two refugee camps has resulted in the martyrdom of 13 citizens, in addition to the injury and arrest of dozens.
