10 Palestinian detainees have been on open hunger strike in Israeli lock-ups for different periods in protest at their detention conditions.
The Palestinian Prisoner Society said that Ihsan Othman 21 and Ja’far Izz el-Din 48 started a hunger strike nine days ago protesting their administrative detention.
The two brothers Nour el-Din and Mohyee el-Din Shahrouri have been on hunger strike for nine days and two days respectively over their humiliating detention conditions.
Protesting their detention without charge or trial prisoners Mahmoud al-Fasfous 29 Kayed al-Fasfous 30 Ghadanfar Abu Atwan 26 Abdul-Aziz Sweiti 30 Saed al-Nammoura 27 and Wael Rabei 30 started an open-ended hunger strike yesterday.
