10 Palestinians kidnaped by IOF in W. Bank

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Thursday kidnaped at least 10 Palestinian citizens mostly following raids on homes in different West Bank areas.

According to local sources in Bethlehem the IOF kidnaped six citizens during raids on homes in the towns of Beit Fajjar al-Khader and al-Dawha

The detainees were identified as Ahmed Taqatiqa Yousef Thawabta Mohamed Thawabta Tayseer Manasra Muhand and Hamza al-Wahesh (brothers).

Another young man identified as Nader Taqatiqa was handed a summons for interrogation from the Shin Bet in Gush Etzion settlement.

In Nablus the IOF kidnaped two young men identified as Hamdan al-Asous from Burin town and Kareem Abdul-Mon’im from Tell town.

Another citizen identified as Hussein Abul-Rab a resident of Qabatiya town in Jenin was kidnaped at the Israeli checkpoint of Dotan.

In Qalqilya the IOF kidnaped a citizen called Ameer Abu Libdeh.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and on Thursday morning kidnaped at least 10 Palestinian citizens including a child during campaigns in the West Bank.

A statement released by the Israeli army said its forces arrested 10 Palestinians during overnight raids on homes in the West Bank describing them as wanted by the security authorities.

In this regard local sources told a reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that the IOF kidnaped a Birzeit University student called Yousef al-Faqha from his home in Anabta town in Tulkarem.

The IOF also kidnaped last night a 13-year-old child called Khaled Ghannam during his presence near a military checkpoint in the north of Qalqilya.

Another three citizens were taken prisoners at dawn during an IOF campaign in Jaba town south of Jenin. The IOF also assaulted families during its detention of the citizens.

In Ramallah the IOF kidnaped two citizens identified as Baraa Badra and Islam Namer from al-Am’ari refugee camp where it also clashed with local youths and seriously wounded a young man after opening fire at him as he was driving a car.

The wounded young man was detained and taken to a hospital in Jerusalem.

In al-Khalil the IOF kidnaped a young man called Akram al-Masalmeh from Beit Awwa town and another one identified as Ashraf Abu Hashim a resident of Dura town at a military checkpoint.

The IOF also stormed overnight different areas of the West Bank raided homes and set up some checkpoints.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped at dawn Sunday 10 Palestinian citizens from their homes in different West Bank areas.

Some of the detainees were identified as Ibrahim ash-Sheikh an ex-detainee from Marah Rabah village in Bethlehem Hassan al-Misri a university student from al-Ma’ajin neighborhood in Nablus city and Khalil Abu Turki from al-Khalil city.

Seven others were taken prisoners during IOF campaigns in the West Bank according to a statement released by the Israeli occupation army.

The IOF also stormed Beit Jala city west of Bethlehem and Harmalah village west of Bethlehem with no reported arrests.

In a separate incident the IOF on Sunday morning re-detained a Jerusalemite citizen immediately after his release from an Israeli jail.

According to the family committee of Jerusalemite detainees the IOF re-detained 21-year-old Amjad Abu Asab once he stepped out of the Negev jail after he completed his 13-month term.
