10 Palestinians kidnapped in IOF campaign in W. Bank

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Sunday kidnapped 10 Palestinian young men in different areas of the West Bank.

The Israeli army said in a statement that 10 Palestinians were arrested overnight during campaigns in the West Bank.

According to local sources Israeli troops stormed Balata refugee camp near Nablus city and kidnapped a young man called Baraa Hashash from his home.

Four others were also taken prisoners during an IOF campaign in the new camp of Askar east of Nablus.

The four detainees were identified as Jameel al-Aqra Salloum Jawdeh Salamah Abdul-Jawwad (ex-detainee) and Mohamed Ebdah (ex-detainee).

The IOF also stormed the towns of Salem Asira al-Qibliya and al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya in Nablus with no reported arrests.

In Bethlehem overnight clashes broke out between local young men and Israeli soldiers and ended with the arrest of two citizens identified as Rani Bisharat and Mahmoud Zaboun.

Soldiers also broke into and ransacked the house of ex-detainee Bilal Salamah and handed him a summons for interrogation from the Shin Bet.

In al-Khalil the IOF stormed Abu Asnaina neighborhood and searched homes without making arrests.

The IOF also raided the house of ex-detainee Ra’fat Shalalda in Sa’ir town northeast of al-Khalil

In Qalqilya the IOF reportedly stormed some stores in Azzun town and confiscated security camera recordings from them.
