10 West Bank Palestinians kidnapped in overnight campaigns

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Wednesday arrested 10 Palestinian citizens including children during raids launched into different villages and towns in the West Bank.

The PIC reporter said that the Israeli police stormed al-Isawiya and al-Tur towns in Jerusalem and arrested Khaled Na’aji his 18-year-old son Yazan Ameer Karkash 17 Mohammed Atiyya 17 and Raed al-Sayyad 15.

The IOF arrested two other Palestinians in Beit Rima town northwest of Ramallah.

The PIC reporter said that the IOF arrested ex-prisoner Aziz al-Rimawi 29 and Samer al-Rimawi 27 after raiding their houses in Beit Rima.

He added that violent clashes flared up in the area during which the IOF soldiers heavily fired teargas canisters and sound bombs at Palestinian citizens. No injuries were reported.

Local sources in Qalqilya reported that the IOF raided Azzun and Baqet al-Hatab towns east of the city searched a number of Palestinian houses assaulted their residents and interrogated them. A Palestinian youth identified as Osaid al-Barghouti was arrested in the campaign.

Other arrests were reported in Nablus after the IOF raided Madama and Sebastia towns and attacked Palestinian residents.

Eyewitnesses said that violent clashes broke out overnight in Madama and Sebastia where the IOF soldiers heavily fired sound bombs and illumination flares.
