The Palestinian health ministry reported on Wednesday 10 new deaths associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) 1071 new positive tests and 3154 recoveries in the West Bank Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s daily report two of the victims who died of the virus are from the West Bank and Jerusalem and eight others from Gaza.
Moreover 84 critically ill COVID-19 patients are being treated in intensive care units and 30 of them have been placed on ventilators.
An additional 146 patients are also receiving medical care in hospitals and special COVID-19 treatment centers in the West Bank.
97 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease while the rate of active cases has reached 2.1 percent and the rate of deaths is 0.9 percent of the total cases according to data updated today by the ministry.
