New groups of Israeli settlers on Sunday morning forced their way into al-Aqsa Mosque amid heavy police presence.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that about 106 settlers escorted by a large number of Israeli police officers broke into al-Aqsa Mosque in the early morning hours.
The sources said that other groups of settlers are expected to enter the hoy site later in the day.
Israeli settlers carry out incursions into al-Aqsa Mosque on almost a daily basis especially during the early morning hours taking advantage of the small number of Palestinian worshipers in the site during this period.
