Some 117 Israelis including 67 settlers 25 Jewish students and 25 intelligence officers on Monday morning broke into the courtyards of al-Aqsa Mosque.
According to the Islamic Endowment Department in Occupied Jerusalem Israeli police offered protection to settlers who roamed the plazas of the holy shrine amid performing Talmudic rituals.
Jewish settlers are usually allowed to storm the holy site over two periods in the morning and evening terms. They enter the mosque from the Israeli-controlled al-Maghareba gate and exit from al-Silsilah gate.
