The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night kidnapped at least 12 Palestinian citizens including a blind man from their homes during campaigns in different West Bank areas.
The detainees included ex-detainees and noted figures affiliated with Hamas and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).
According to Quds Press the IOF kidnapped senior Hamas official Sheikh Ali Hanoun (blind) from his home in al-Mazra’a al-Gharbiya town northwest of Ramallah.
The IOF also kidnapped Rashad Karraja a senior PFLP official from his home in Saffa town west of Ramallah.
Ex-detainees identified as Maher Shraiteh and Khaled Qa’ad as well as three other young men were taken prisoners during an IOF campaign in different areas of Ramallah province.
The IOF also launched arrest campaigns in al-Khalil where it kidnapped a child and two citizens from al-Arroub refugee camp.
In Nablus a young man was also taken prisoner from his home in Sebastia town.
Earlier Israeli plain-clothes soldiers kidnapped on Saturday night a young man called Mohamed al-Barghouthi from his commercial store in Kobar village northwest of Ramallah.
