The Palestinian health ministry on Monday reported 12 new deaths associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) 395 new positive tests and 352 recoveries in the West Bank Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s daily report six of the new victims who died of the virus are from different areas of the West Bank four others from Jerusalem and two from the Gaza Strip.
38 critically ill patients have also been admitted to intensive care units and five of them have been placed on ventilators.
87.1 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease while the rate of active cases has reached 12.1 percent and the rate of deaths is 0.8 percent of the total cases.
