13 Palestinians kidnapped in W. Bank IOF campaigns

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Wednesday kidnapped 13 Palestinian citizens and confiscated money in different areas of the West Bank.

According to local sources the IOF kidnapped three young men during a campaign in Nablus city Kafr Qallil and Balata refugee camp.

The three detainees were identified as Muaad Dukan Sameh Mansour and Hasan Bekhait.

The IOF also raided student houses in Birzeit town north of Ramallah and rounded up one student called Issa Shalaldeh.

Local sources in Birzeit said that the IOF failed to kidnap many university students during raids on their apartments in the town after they managed to escape.

An Israeli military force also stormed Senjel town north of Ramallah and put up notices warning of communicating with ex-detainee Abdullah Arrar who was released as part of the 2011 prisoner swap deal and exiled to Gaza.

In al-Khalil the IOF stormed Surif town and Yatta city and kidnapped Omar al-Hih and Ziyad Nawaj’ah after ransacking their homes.

Thousands of shekels were confiscated by the IOF during their raid on the house of Nawaj’ah.

Another Palestinian citizen identified as Ziyad Bannat was taken prisoner during an IOF campaign in al-Khalil city.

An IOF campaign also took place in Bethlehem city where a young man called Farouq Abu Aker was kidnapped from his home and a weapon was allegedly found and seized.

A sum of money was also confiscated during an IOF campaign in Harmalah town east of Bethlehem.
