The Palestinian ministry of health announced on Friday that 13 deaths 797 new cases of coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 1855 recovery cases were recorded in the same period adding that 8 deaths were recorded in the West Bank and Jerusalem and 5 others in the Gaza Strip.
It pointed out that 77 critically ill patients were admitted to intensive care units while 133 others were being treated in the West Bank’s COVID-19 sections in various hospitals including 29 who have been placed on ventilators.
The recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 97.3 percent while the rate of active infections reached 1.8 percent and the death rate was 0.9 percent of all infections the ministry underlined.
