Between May 1 and 8 133 Palestinian citizens tested positive for COVID-19 (coronavirus) and 405 others recovered from the virus in the West Bank the Gaza Strip and Jerusalem. No related deaths happened during the week.
This came in a new COVID-19 situation report released on Sunday by the Palestinian health ministry in Ramallah.
According to the report the percentage of fully-vaccinated citizens is 62.7 percent in the West Bank and 35.5 percent in the Gaza Strip.
