14 Palestinians kidnapped in W. Bank IOF campaign

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Thursday carried out a widespread arrest campaign in different West Bank areas.

Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that 14 Palestinian citizens were taken prisoners during an IOF campaign in the West Bank.

Seven of those citizens were kidnapped in Nablus city Balata refugee camp and Madama town.

According to local sources violent clashes broke out between local young men and Israeli soldiers during the IOF campaign in some neighborhoods of Nablus city and the nearby camp of Balata.

Soldiers also stormed and ransacked several commercial stores after detonating its doors in as-Souk al-Sharqi area in Nablus and kidnapped one of the storeowners.

In Qalqilya an Israeli military force kidnapped three Palestinians from their homes.

The IOF also raided homes in different areas of Occupied Jerusalem where soldiers kidnapped two citizens identified as Khalil Kanaan Osama Ahmed in as-Sawahira ash-Sharqiya town and another one called Mohamed Abu Obaid in Biddu town.

In Ramallah the IOF stormed Surda town and seized security camera recordings during raids on homes and businesses.

The IOF also stormed Bethlehem city and Beit Fajjar town and handed citizens summonses for interrogation from the Shin Bet.
