A 14-year-old Palestinian detained boy Hamed al-Masri on Saturday underwent a second surgery in the head after he had undergone an operation in the neck on Friday. He still needs two other surgeries.
The lawyer of Palestinian Prisoner Society Raed Mahamid who visited captive Masri on Sunday said that the child is now in a coma in a critical health condition. He is held in the intensive care unit at Schneider Children’s Hospital in 1948 Occupied Palestine.
Israeli Occupation Forces on December 12 shot and injured the Palestinian minor before arresting him near Salfit governorate. He was seriously wounded in his nose and left eye.
