141 Palestinians were recently kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) from the southern West Bank as part of an abrupt sweep targeting “undocumented Palestinians.”
According to a Sunday statement by the Israeli army the latter said it has stepped up manhunts and abduction sweeps across flashpoints in Etzion south of Bethlehem in the hunt for “illegal residents.”
141 Palestinians were arrested among whom 38 “illegal residents.”
Observers warned that the campaign makes part of Israeli intents to expropriate southern West Bank lands in favor of illegal settlement expansion.
