The Palestinian health ministry on Wednesday reported 15 new deaths associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) 963 new positive tests and 552 recoveries in Palestinian areas during the last 24 hours.
According to the health ministry 13 of the new victims who died of the virus are from different areas of the West Bank and the other two are from the Gaza Strip and Anata town in Jerusalem.
662 of the new COVID-19 patients are from the West Bank 207 from Jerusalem and 94 from Gaza.
69.8 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease while the rate of the active cases is 29.5 percent and the rate of deaths is 0.7 percent of the total cases.
30 critically ill patients have also been admitted to intensive care units and 11 of them have been placed on ventilators according to the ministry.
