The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped 16 Palestinian citizens during campaigns in the West Bank and Jerusalem in the early hours of Sunday morning.
According to local sources the IOF kidnaped at dawn six citizens after raiding several homes and conducting on-site interrogations in Qaryut town south of Nablus.
In Salfit the IOF stormed Iskaka village and kidnaped three citizens including a father and son from their homes. All these detainees are relatives of martyr Ali Harb who was stabbed to death by a Jewish settler last Tuesday.
In Tulkarem the IOF kidnaped two brothers from the family of Zendeq and another young man during raids on homes in Ein Shams refugee camp.
The IOF also raided two homes in the villages of al-Rashayida and Asakra in Bethlehem without making arrests.
Local sources in Asakra village said that the IOF raided the house of prisoner Atiya Asakra and ordered his family not to hold any gatherings to celebrate his release on Monday.
Two other young men were also taken prisoners during IOF raids in Beit Ummar town north of al-Khalil.
In east Jerusalem Israeli police forces kidnaped two Jerusalemite activists during morning raids in Silwan district.
Local sources said that police officers kidnaped activist Suaad Abu Ramoz from her workplace in Batn al-Hawa neighborhood in Silwan.
They added that the police also kidnaped activist Ahmed al-Ghoul a senior Fatah official from his home in Silwan.
