161 Israeli settlers broke into holy al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Tuesday at the same time as Israeli policemen came down heavily on the Muslim guards.
According to eyewitnesses tension has been running high at al-Aqsa Mosque after dozens of Israeli fanatics stormed the site via al-Maghareba Gate during the morning break-in shift.
Israeli police troops escorted the settlers all the way through the break-in. Presentations on the counterfeit history of the temple mount were also delivered in the process.
Prior to the assault the Israeli forces unlocked the Maghareba Gate and cordoned off the plazas of al-Aqsa Mosque.
Meanwhile the Israeli authorities continue to ban dozens of Jerusalemite men and women from praying at the site.
