The Palestinian health ministry on Tuesday reported 17 new deaths associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) 2333 new positive tests and 1758 recoveries in the West Bank Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s daily report 69 critically ill COVID-19 patients are also receiving intensive care in hospitals and 18 of them have been placed on ventilators.
76.4 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease while the rate of active cases has reached 22.8 percent and the rate of deaths is 0.8 percent of the total cases according to data updated today by the ministry.
