The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced on Monday that 18 deaths 1786 new cases of the coronavirus and 1181 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that new deaths were recorded as follows: Jenin 1 Qalqilya 4 Nablus 3 al-Khalil 2 the suburbs of Jerusalem 1 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 1 Bethlehem 1 and the Gaza Strip 5.
It stated that the new infections were distributed as follows: Tubas 40 Tulkarem 133 Jenin 164 Qalqilya 47 al-Khalil 125 Nablus 238 Salfit 15 the suburbs of Jerusalem 16 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 138 Bethlehem 42 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 13 and the Gaza Strip 815.
The recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 89.5 percent while the rate of active infections reached 9.4 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections the ministry added.
The ministry pointed out that there are 207 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 65 who have been placed on ventilators.
Regarding the vaccination campaign the total number of people who received the corona vaccine in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 69055 including 7638 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
