The Palestinian health ministry on Thursday reported 18 new deaths associated with COVID-11 (coronavirus) 2311 new positive tests and 2112 recoveries in the West Bank Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s daily report 14 of the new victims who died of the virus are from different areas of the West Bank three from Jerusalem and one from Gaza.
190 critically ill COVID-19 patients are also receiving intensive care in hospitals and 55 of them have been placed on ventilators.
89.3 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease while the rate of active cases has reached 9.6 percent and the rate of deaths is 1.1 percent of the total cases according to data updated today by the ministry.
