The Palestinian ministry of health announced on Thursday that 18 deaths 2928 new cases of coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 5401 recovery cases were recorded in the same period adding that 11 deaths were recorded in the West Bank and 7 others in the Gaza Strip.
It pointed out that 112 critically ill patients were admitted to intensive care units while 267 others were being treated in the West Bank’s COVID-19 sections in various hospitals including 44 who have been placed on ventilators.
The recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 91.5 percent while the rate of active infections reached 7.6 percent and the death rate was 0.9 percent of all infections the ministry underlined.
