Between April 17 and 24 183 citizens tested positive for COVID-19 (coronavirus) and 373 others recovered from the virus in the West Bank the Gaza Strip and Jerusalem. No related death happened during the week.
This came in a new COVID-19 situation report released on Monday by the Palestinian health ministry in Ramallah.
Moreover two critically ill COVID-19 patients are being treated in intensive care units and two others have been placed on ventilators.
An additional six patients are also receiving medical care in hospitals and special COVID-19 treatment centers.
99 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease while the rate of active cases has reached 0.1 percent and the rate of deaths is 0.9 percent of the total cases.
