19 Gazans visit relatives in Israeli lock-ups

Monday 27-March-2017

19 Palestinian family members were allowed access out of the blockaded Gaza Strip on Monday to visit their relatives held captive in Israeli jails.

The Red Cross spokeswoman Souhir Zaqout said the committee brokered the access of 19 Gazans including children out of the besieged coastal enclave of Gaza to pay visits to nine imprisoned relatives in the Israeli Ramon lock-up.

Palestinians in the blockaded Gaza Strip are denied the right to visit their detained relatives in Israeli prisons unless they acquire the consent of the Israeli occupation authorities.
