19 Palestinians injured by Israeli army at Jalazoun camp

Saturday 15-October-2016

At least 19 Palestinian civilians sustained wounds on Saturday evening in clashes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in northern Ramallah province.
A PIC news correspondent quoted paramedics at the al-Jalazoun refugee camp to the north of Ramallah as stating that the number of Palestinians injured during the clashes has gone up as high as 19 including two in critical conditions.
Earlier the Palestinian Health Ministry said four Palestinians were received at the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah to be urgently treated for the serious wounds inflicted by the IOF during clashes at the Jalazoun camp.
A Palestinian youth was hit and injured with bullet shrapnel in his back while a girl was hit with a teargas canister.
Clashes burst out as Palestinians took to the streets to commemorate the first anniversary of the murder of the Palestinian child Ahmad Sharaka killed by the occupation army at the Jalazoun camp on October 11 2015.
Over 248 Palestinians were killed by the occupation army while thousands have been left wounded since the outbreak of the anti-occupation Jerusalem Intifada in early October.
