The Palestinian ministry of health announced on Wednesday that 19 deaths 6091 new cases of coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 8194 recovery cases were recorded in the same period adding that 15 deaths were recorded in the West Bank and 4 others in the Gaza Strip.
It pointed out that 116 critically ill patients were admitted to intensive care units while 320 others were being treated in the West Bank’s COVID-19 sections in various hospitals including 34 who have been placed on ventilators.
The recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 88.4 percent while the rate of active infections reached 10.7 percent and the death rate was 0.9 percent of all infections the ministry underlined.
It pointed out that the total number of people who received the corona vaccine in the West Bank and Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours reached 79030 including 4169 in Gaza Strip and 3734 in the West Bank.
