2 Palestinian children kidnapped by Israeli army from home at daybreak

Tuesday 14-February-2017

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at daybreak Tuesday kidnapped two Palestinian children from the West Bank and ravaged civilian homes.

13-year-old Anas al-Massaeed and his 14-year-old brother Mohamed were kidnapped by the IOF from their family homes in Aida refugee camp north of the southern West Bank province of Bethlehem.

The IOF reportedly raked through residential neighborhoods and cracked down on the Palestinian civilians.

According to a PIC news correspondent the IOF also stormed Nablus’s southern town of Ourata in the northern West Bank and closed off its main access road.

Local activist Ali Louleh said Israeli troops broke into Palestinian homes in the area in the sixth such assault over the past couple of weeks.

At the same time 10 Israeli military jeeps rolled into al-Rajabi neighborhood in the southern West Bank province of al-Khalil. Abrupt home break-ins had been carried out by the IOF during the assault.

The occupation soldiers further stormed a bakery and kidnapped an unidentified Palestinian youth.

At the same time the IOF moved into Abu Esneineh neighborhood in al-Khalil and rummaged into homes belonging to al-Kurki family.
