Israel’s General intelligence Service (Shabak) on Monday said two Palestinians suspected of killing an Israeli soldier last Thursday were nabbed.
According to Hebrew-speaking media sources two Palestinian young men were arrested on Friday on suspicion that they killed an Israeli soldier in Arad south of Israel.
According to the sources the suspects admitted during an interrogation to murdering Ron Kokia and led investigators to retrieve the soldier’s gun.
On Thursday night Ron Kokia was stabbed to death at a bus stop in the city of Arad in what the Israelis said was an attack sparked by nationalistic motives. The attackers also snatched the soldier’s gun prompting a widespread manhunt across southern Israel.
