Scores of Palestinian citizens including children and women on Saturday night choked on tear gas fired by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) during a raid on Azzun town east of Qalqilya City.
Local sources reported that over 20 citizens suffered breathing difficulties and were treated in the field.
They added that fire broke out in a Palestinian home in the town after it was heavily targeted with tear gas bombs.
The residents of Azzun rushed to the place and helped the civil defense crews evacuate the family inside and extinguish the fire.
Meanwhile in Tulkarem a Palestinian youth was injured after being shot by IOF soldiers in Qaffin village.
Eyewitnesses said that the IOF chased Mohammed Abu Rmeila in Qaffin and fired rubber-coated metal bullets at him injuring him in the leg.
Abu Rmeila was later transferred to a hospital in Jenin for treatment.
