20 Palestinians kidnapped by Israeli soldiers at crack of dawn

Monday 29-May-2017

At least 20 Palestinians were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Monday in mass abduction sweeps rocking the West Bank and Jerusalem.

A PIC news correspondent said the IOF ravaged civilian homes in Jerusalem’s eastern town of al-Issawiya and kidnapped 12 Palestinians.

At the same time the IOF stormed Burin town south of Nablus and kidnapped the Palestinian youth Namer al-Tirawi from his family home.

The Israeli troops further stormed Beita and Kasra town south of Nablus and kidnapped the Palestinian ex-prisoner Baraa Hamayel from his home in Beita al-Fouka. Youngster Fares Oudeh was also kidnapped in the assault.

Meanwhile the IOF soldiers broke into the home of the Palestinian civilian Ziad Hamdan in Tulkarem’s northern town of Balaa and aggressively attacked his family members after they subjected them to intensive questioning.

A number of Israeli army jeeps were further spotted near Tulkarem’s Western Mosque at predawn time on claims of hunting for a wanted anti-occupation youth.

The IOF raided Azzoun town east of Qalqilya at the crack of dawn and kidnapped two more Palestinian youngsters identified as Mohamed Emad and Udai Salim.

The IOF also sealed off the northern entrance to Azzoun and wreaked havoc on civilian homes.

The campaign culminated in the abduction of the Palestinian ex-prisoner Fahd Sbeih from his family home in the southern occupied West Bank province of al-Khalil.
