The Palestinian ministry of health announced on Thursday that 20 deaths 5210 new cases of coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 6383 recovery cases were recorded in the same period adding that 13 deaths were recorded in the West Bank and 7 others in the Gaza Strip.
It pointed out that 116 critically ill patients were admitted to intensive care units while 320 others were being treated in the West Bank’s COVID-19 sections in various hospitals including 34 who have been placed on ventilators.
The recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 88.7 percent while the rate of active infections reached 10.4 percent and the death rate was 0.9 percent of all infections the ministry concluded.
