The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) prevented 207 Palestinian citizens from traveling last January through the Allenby (King Hussein) border crossing with Jordan for unstated security reasons.
However more than 181000 Palestinians and other passengers were able to travel last month through the crossing between the West Bank and Jordan according to the Palestinian Authority police.
87759 of those passengers left the West Bank for Jordan and 93987 others entered the occupied territories.
Allenby Bridge also known as al-Karama is a crossing that spans the Jordan River and connects the West Bank with Jordan.
The bridge is the sole designated exit and entry point for West Bank Palestinians traveling in and out of the Israeli occupied territories.
