The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) launched at dawn Tuesday a large-scale raid and arrest campaign in occupied Jerusalem and West Bank. 21 arrests were reported during the campaign.
The IOF said that 15 “wanted” Palestinians were arrested for being allegedly involved in anti-occupation attacks.
Seven youths affiliated with Hamas Movement were among the reported arrests the sources said.
The Israeli military sources also claimed that weapons were found during the raid and search campaign.
A number of ex-prisoners were also among the reported arrests.
Four youths were arrested in occupied Jerusalem while six others were kidnapped in Nablus and Salfit.
Violent raid and search operations were carried out during the campaign throughout West Bank towns and cities.
According to prisoners rights group Addameer 7000 Palestinians are currently detained in Israeli jails including hundreds of children and dozens of women.
