Some 22 Palestinian youths were injured by Israeli gunfire and dozens of others suffered breathing problems during clashes with Israeli occupation forces (IOF) near the security fence east of Gaza Strip.
The injuries resulted from the IOF quelling of the peaceful marches that were held on the 12th Friday of anger in protest at Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as capital of Israel.
The spokesman of Health Ministry Ashraf al-Qudra said that the 22 wounded Palestinians were shot in their feet and abdomen. Seven injuries were reported east of Jabalya 6 east of Gaza 5 east of al-Buraij refugee camp and 4 east of Khan Younis he added.
The PIC reporter pointed out that many others choked on Israeli tear gas during the clashes after IOF troops showered the participants with tear gas canisters.
