Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health announced on Sunday that 25 deaths 2806 new cases of the coronavirus and 1589 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
Kailah confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 23 deaths were recorded in the West Bank while two deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip.
She noted that the new infections were distributed geographically to 1178 cases in the West Bank and 1628 in the Gaza Strip.
The recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 89.3 percent while the rate of active infections reached 9.6 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections the minister added.
Kailah pointed out that there are 201 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 61 who have been placed on ventilators.
Regarding the vaccination campaign the total number of people who received the corona vaccine in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 91626 including 11129 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
