The Palestinian health ministry on Tuesday reported 254 new positive tests associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip with no new deaths during the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s daily report 35 patients also recovered from the disease in the West Bank and Gaza.
15 critically ill COVID-19 patients are also receiving intensive care in hospitals and two others have been placed on ventilators.
In addition another 25 patients are receiving medical care in hospitals and special COVID-19 treatment centers.
98.3 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease while the rate of active cases has reached 0.6 percent and the rate of deaths is 1.1 percent of the total cases according to data updated today by the ministry.
