Israel continues to detain 26 Arab prisoners in its jails including seven prisoners sentenced to life rights sources revealed on Monday.
Head of the Studies and Documentation Unit in the Prisoners’ and Detainees’ Affairs Commission Abdel Nasser Farwana said that 23 Jordanians two Syrian prisoners and another Egyptian are held in Israeli jails.
The longest-serving Arab prisoner in Israeli custody Sadqi al-Muqt from the occupied Syrian Golan Heights spent 30 years in Israeli jails he pointed out.
