26 Palestinian citizens were rescued from migration boats off the shores of Libya and Greece Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ramallah reported on Thursday.
“Six Palestinian immigrants were saved from a migration boat off the Libyan coast west of Tripoli while 16 others including four women were rescued off the coast of Misurata” ambassador Ahmed Al-Deek a diplomat with the Palestinian foreign ministry underlined.
Al-Deek added that Greek authorities have also rescued two boats carrying among many others four Palestinian citizens off the shores of Kos island in Greece.
He pointed out that the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Libya is following up the case of the Palestinian citizens all of whom carrying Syrian Travel Documents.
