27 Palestinians injured by Israeli forces in Ramallah clashes

Wednesday 16-August-2017

At least 27 Palestinians were left wounded on Wednesday morning in clashes that broke out shortly after the Israeli occupation forces stormed Ramallah’s northern town of Kober in an attempt to demolish the home of slain Omar al-Abd.

Palestinian Red Crescent medics said 27 Palestinians were treated for rubber bullet wounds and breathing disorders after the Israeli army attacked protesters and civilian homes with heavy spates of bullet fire and teargas canisters.

Two protesters fell in a faint after they were chased down by the occupation patrols.

Palestinian journalist Mohamed Radi was hit with a rubber bullet in his head. He was rushed along with two other wounded protesters to Palestine Medical Complex.

Recently five relatives of al-Abd were sent to Israeli jails as part of retaliatory measures targeting the families of slain Palestinian anti-occupation youth.
