The Israeli occupation forces released the two Palestinian women Yasmine Jaber and Dina Jaradat after serving their prison sentences on Friday afternoon.
Jaber spent 30 months behind bars while Jaradat spent four and a half months in Israeli jails.
However 29 Palestinian female prisoners are still held in Israeli jails including the two girls Noufout Hammad and Zamzam Al-Qawasmeh.
The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) noted that Maysoon Musa is the longest serving female prisoner as she is continued to be held since 2015 serving a 15-year prison sentence.
The female prisoners Shorouk Doyyat and Shatila Ayad have received the highest prison term as they are sentenced to 16 years in prison.
The PPS pointed out that two female prisoners are held in administrative detention while six have been suffering injuries during arrest and six are mothers.
