The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Monday kidnaped at least 29 Palestinian citizens including a woman mostly during raids on homes in different areas of Jerusalem and the West Bank.
According to local sources in the West Bank the IOF kidnaped the wife of Jerusalemite prisoner Muaad al-Ash’hab from her home in Wadi al-Joz neighborhood and confiscated his car.
The IOF also stormed at-Tur neighborhood (Mount of Olives) near the Old City of Jerusalem and kidnaped eight Palestinian citizens.
12 other Jerusalemites were taken prisoners during police campaigns in the Old City of Jerusalem as-Suwannah neighborhood Silwan district Issawiya district and Sur Baher neighborhood.
Among those detainees is head of the family committee of Jerusalemite prisoners Amjad Abu Asab a resident of as-Suwannah neighborhood.
A young man was reportedly kidnaped by the IOF after intercepting the motorbike he was riding a motorcycle on a road near the Qalandiya crossing in the northeast of Jerusalem.
In the West Bank the IOF kidnaped a Birzeit University student identified as Wisam Oaisat a resident of ash-Shuyukh town in northern al-Khalil at a military checkpoint near the illegal settlement of Ma’ale Adumim
A young man was also taken prisoner by the IOF at a makeshift checkpoint near Nabi Salih town in the northwest of Ramallah.
Other young men identified as Mahmoud Khuzamia and Mahdi Zakarneh were kidnaped from their homes during an IOF campaign in Qabatiya town south of Jenin.
In Bethlehem the IOF stormed the towns of al-Khader and Beit Fajjar and kidnaped three children under age 17 identified as Nasrallah Ibrahim Mahmoud Ahmed and Mohamed Hussein.
