Three Palestinian youths were injured while three others were arrested Tuesday evening as clashes broke out between local youths and Israeli police forces in al-Ram town north of occupied Jerusalem.
Israeli forces opened fire at local youths in al-Ram town injuring four of them.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society affirmed that three Palestinians suffered gunshot wounds in their legs during the clashes.
Eyewitnesses pointed out that a Palestinian-owned car was completely burned during the confrontation.
Three other youths were detained and taken to unknown detention centers the sources added.
Tensions have been running high in al-Ram town after a local resident carried out Sunday an anti-occupation attack leaving two Israelis dead and six others injured.
Meanwhile Palestinian youths stoned Tuesday afternoon an Israeli light rail and bus in occupied Jerusalem.
Material damage was caused during the stone-throwing attacks.
Search operations were carried out in the area following the incident.
No casualties were reported.
