Three Palestinian boys were arrested in the clashes that broke out on Monday evening between Palestinian youths and an undercover Israeli force in al-Issawiya village to the east of occupied Jerusalem.
Mohammed Abu al-Hummus member of the monitoring committee in the village said that a number of Israeli policemen raided the village many times during the day which led to the outbreak of violent clashes during the latest raid.
According to the Quds Press news agency Abu al-Hummus said that the Israeli police forces fired gas bombs and rubber bullets at the youths who responded by throwing stones.
He added that an undercover Israeli unit set up an ambush for the youths and arrested 3 minors and took them to an unknown destination before the forces withdrew from the village.
No injuries were reported among the Palestinian citizens.
